“You translate everything, whether physical, or spiritual into muscular tension.”
F.M. Alexander
The Alexander Technique is an elegant mind/body system that heightens awareness through the gentle touch of a teacher. It helps release held tension, while encouraging body awareness and choice, presenting a new way of using yourself at rest or in any movement. Skills such as sports, playing a musical instrument, dance, working at a computer are enhanced. The Alexander Technique can affect every aspect of your life...and for the rest of your life!
The Alexander Technique is particularly helpful for people recovering from an injury, or chronic pain. It improves posture and encourages grace and ease in any activity.
Benefits of the Alexander Technique
